The YS Viveka murder case has seen a new development now with Komma Siva Chandra Reddy coming up with a new version of the events preceding the murder.
“I said to Viveka that I’m unable to work with Avinash and his father Bhaskar Reddy. I wanted to leave the party. But Viveka kept hold of me, saying he is like a father figure to me.” Siva Chandra Reddy, one of the main witnesses in the case said to the CBI.
“Viveka assured me that Avinash will not be given the MP ticket in the 2019 elections and it will either be Vijayamma or Sharmila to contest from Kadapa parliamentary constituency in the previous elections” Reddy said.
This clearly implies that Viveka was against Avinash getting the MP ticket and he wanted Sharmila or Vijayamma in his place.
Incidentally, that didn’t happen, and eventually, both Vijayamma and Sharmila left YCP and went to Telangana to float YSRTP.
A few are saying that Viveka operating against Avinash in Kadapa could also be a key facet of the highly controversial murder.
