Something strange is happening in the YSR Congress. We already know how the YSR family is vertically split. And now, the Party High Command is breaking families with its strange equations and strategies.
It all happened with Duvvada Srinivas’s family. Initially, Srinivas was the candidate for Tekkali, and Jagan even made him an MLC.

Later, based on surveys, he offered the same seat to his wife, Duvvada Vani. It was then that issues started in the family, and that led to Srinivas’s extramarital affair.
Many in the constituency say the Tekkali Ticket is the reason why the relationship became irreconcilable.

The same thing happened recently with Former MP Nandigam Suresh’s family.
There are rumors in the constituency that his wife, Baby, will be given a ticket this time.

We have seen a leaked phone call in which a party activist is flattering Baby saying that she will be the next Home Minister and Suresh will not be given the coming election.
Baby is flattered to the extent that she has already started imagining herself as the Home Minister.
And now, it is rumored that Jagan is planning to make Vallabhaneni Vamsi’s wife, Pankaja Sri, as Gannavaram Incharge.
The party is of the opinion that Vamsi will not be allowed to tour the constituency freely in this Government, and moreover, his health is also not good and so Pankaja Sri will be a good option.
Moreover, being a female, she may invoke sympathy, Jagan feels.
However, sources say that Vamsi does not want his wife to be in politics.
Pankaja Sri was never seen in politics all these years. YSR Congress started parading her before the media after Vamsi’s arrest just for the sake of sympathy.
Patriarchal mindset is highly prevalent in Indian Society. That is even more in Politics, as men feel that parties preferring women over them is an insult.
In some cases, the woman is always in Politics right from the start, and men support them. It is not a big deal in that case.
But when men are active in politics, and if women are given a chance, branding them as losers, hell will break loose. That is exactly happening here.
In such cases, the politics in those constituencies will completely become a mess, like how it is in Tekkali. But Jagan is not learning a lesson.
