Opposition Party, YSR Congress had given ‘No Confidence Motion’ on Andhra Pradesh government this morning. YSR Congress MLAs met AP Assembly Secretary this morning and handed over the notice to him. YSR Congress alleged that the government failed to carry out all the promises given before the elections and the ‘No Confidence Motion’ is given for that.

This is a ploy to corner YSR Congress MLAs who recently joined TDP. If they vote to TDP against the whip of the party, YSR Congress can push for the disqualification. The No Confidence Motion is timed to coincide with the day the government is putting up the state budget before the Assembly.
It has to be seen if the Speaker admits the No Confidence Motion immediately. The government will easily will the test but this will ensure that Jagan will get more time to speak against the government with out interruption. And also it is interesting to see how the MLAs who changed the party do in the test
