YCP MLAs, MPs and ministers have been facing a whole lot of backlash from the public and also internally. The MLAs are in the firing line while they’re stepping out for Gadapa Gadapaku, while rebel MLAs like Kotam Reddy, and Anam are fuming on the party.
Now, a minister is in the firing line in her own constituency and here’s a look into the same.
Minister Ushasree Charan is facing a great deal of pressure from her own party leaders in her Kalyandurgam constituency in Anantapur district.
The local YCP leaders in the area have taken part in a meeting where they decided to rebel against the minister for humiliating them.
The local leadership says Ushasree is intentionally humiliating them by not inviting them to any public meetings or party activities. They say she is wantedly belittling them.
The interesting thing is that YCP state-level leader Tippeswamy also took part in the meeting.
This is not what YCP wants with 10 months to go for the elections. If these internal clashes results in YCP losing local leaders to TDP with the elections around the corner, it could spell disaster for the Jagan party.
