The alliance between the Telugu Desam Party and Jana Sena Party, announced a couple of months ago, has prompted frequent meetings between their respective leaders, Chandrababu Naidu and Pawan Kalyan, as they strategize for the upcoming assembly elections. Additionally, the duo is slated to jointly address a public gathering in Amaravati.
Scheduled for December 17th in Amaravati, Andhra Pradesh, this significant event is organized by farmers to mark the fourth anniversary of the commencement of the Amaravati Agitation. This gathering will witness the participation and support of both CBN and Pawan Kalyan.
The Amaravati Protests originated from farmers who had surrendered their fertile agricultural lands in Guntur and Krishna districts to facilitate Amaravati’s development as the capital. They strongly oppose the YCP’s proposition to establish three capitals in the state.
