Telugu anchor Swapna Chowdary has complained to Jubilee Hills Police Station, alleging that two individuals cheated her by promising an opportunity in Bigg Boss Telugu season 7.
Originally from Khammam, Swapna is both an anchor and an actress with a longstanding desire to participate in Bigg Boss. A few months back, a person named Satya, who claimed to work for Star Maa, befriended her. Later, Satya introduced Tamila Raju to Swapna, presenting Raju as the Bigg Boss in-charge. Both Raju and Satya extracted Rs. 2.5 lakhs from Swapna, assuring her a chance in Bigg Boss.

Later, Swapna realised that she was cheated. When she demanded her money back, she faced threats. Left with no choice, she filed a complaint with the police.
