The Congress Party is poised to lead the government in Telangana. Surprisingly, a significant 80% of the Congress MLAs face criminal charges, marking the highest proportion among all parties in the state. Among the winning MLAs, 51 out of 64 from INC, 19 out of 39 from BRS, 7 out of 8 from BJP, 1 from CPI, and 4 out of 7 from AIMIM have declared criminal cases.
In the pool of 119 winning candidates, a staggering 96% are crorepatis. In the Telangana Assembly elections of 2018, 89% of the MLAs were crorepatis among the 119 analyzed.

Coming to the education qualification, 34% of the winners disclosed educational qualifications ranging from 5th to 12th grade, while 61% claimed a graduate degree or higher.
