Discounts On Traffic Challans Again!

The Telangana Police Department has introduced a discount on pending challans, effective December 26. The discount rates vary depending on the type of vehicle. A similar initiative has been carried out in the past as well.

As per the latest guidelines, the police announced a 90 percent discount on pending challans on RTC Buses and Street Carts. It is 80 percent, 60 percent and 50 percent respectively for 2 wheelers, autos & 4 wheelers and heavy vehicles.

This initiative addresses the significant number of over two crore pending challans in Telangana. We have to see if this initiative works.
