Election Preparations Begin In AP

The Central Election Commission has initiated the assembly election preparations in Andhra Pradesh, with a team of seven officials conducting a two-day visit. A review meeting involving district collectors and SPs occurred at the Novotel Hotel in Vijayawada.

Discussions included preparations for the upcoming general elections, focusing on issues such as the district-wise voter list. District election officials will be questioned about actions taken on opposition complaints regarding irregularities and errors in the voter lists.

Senior Deputy Election Commissioners Dharmendra Sharma, Nitish Kumar Vyas, Deputy Election Commissioners RK Gupta, Hirdesh Kumar, Ajay Bado, and others participated in the review.
