The Hyderabad police arrested a woman who, after accepting a ride from a private employee at SNT Junction, extorted Rs. 25,000 from him.
Getting into details, 35-year-old Bodige Archana, a resident of Rangareddy district, grappled with mental turmoil following the loss of one of her children. Seeking solace, she turned to online gaming, where she incurred substantial financial losses. Her addiction ultimately drove her to resort to robbing and extorting money from others.
In a recent incident, she sought a lift from Gutti Jangaiah. However, upon boarding the bike, she demanded Rs. 25,000 from him, threatening to undress herself in public if he refused. Subsequently, following Jangaiah’s report, the Banjara Hills Police conducted an investigation leading to the arrest of the perpetrator.
