The Begum Bazaar Police in Hyderabad have registered a case against Andhra Pradesh Deputy Chief Minister Narayana Swamy for his controversial statements against senior Congress leader Sonia Gandhi.
A few days. ago, Narayana Swamy alleged that Sonia Gandhi was the reason behind YS Rajashekar Reddy’s death. The local Congress leaders were irked by these allegations and Telangana PCC Vice President Mallu Ravi filed a complaint against Narayana Swamy to Begum Bazaar Police regarding the same on January 8.

Upon receiving the complaint, the police checked the video footage of Swamy’s statements and concluded that he made allegations without any solid evidence. Thus, they filed a case against Swamy under a few IPC sections.
