In anticipation of New Year celebrations on December 31, 2023, Cyberabad Traffic Police issued some guidelines to the citizens. Nehru Outer Ring Road and PVNR Expressway have restrictions from 10 pm to 5 am; and multiple flyovers will be closed from 11 pm to 5 am.
Cabs/taxis/auto-rickshaws must adhere to regulations; refusal of rides incurs a fine. Establishments allowing drunk driving will face consequences too. Special cameras detect violations, and drunk driving will be strictly penalized. Driving without proper documents leads to vehicle impoundment.

High-decibel music and driving without number plates are prohibited. Rash driving, over-speeding, and other violations will be penalized.
