The newly appointed Police Commissioner of Hyderabad, Kothakota Srinivas Reddy, expressed his commitment to CM Revanth Reddy’s vision of transforming Hyderabad into a drug-free city. He emphasized the harmful impact of drugs on the youth in our society.
Srinivas Reddy also highlighted the issue of drug use within the Telugu film industry. He announced plans to convene a meeting with bigwigs in Tollywood to address and eliminate the prevalence of drug culture in the film industry.

In addition, he mentioned that the police will vigilantly monitor pubs and bars suspected of unlawfully distributing drugs. He pledged to collaborate with the Rachakonda and Cyberabad commissioners in a concerted effort to ensure a drug-free Hyderabad.
