Hyderabad has emerged as the city with the highest number of registered cases related to the circulation of fake news, according to the National Crime Bureau records for the year 2022.
The report indicates that among the 19 metro cities, including Bengaluru, Chennai, Ahmedabad, and Mumbai, Hyderabad ranked at the top, with 57 out of a total of 97 cases reported across all cities.

Simultaneously, in domestic violence cases, Hyderabad secured the second position among the 19 cities. A total of 15,913 domestic violence cases were recorded last year, with Delhi leading the list at 4,876 cases, and Hyderabad following with 1,577 cases.
