Nellore District Udayagiri MLA Mekapati Chandra Sekhar Reddy recently expressed regret over supporting Chief Minister Jagan in a speech during the death anniversary program of former minister Veera Reddy in Kadapa.

Having served as MLA four times, Reddy criticized Jagan for insulting him, claiming the Chief Minister questioned the credibility of his political track record. Reddy accused Jagan of making baseless allegations about financial misconduct in Udayagiri, suggesting that his ticket was unfairly treated. He blamed Jagan for the lack of development in the state, attributing it to poorly thought-out decisions that harmed Andhra Pradesh.

Reddy also criticized those around Jagan, asserting that they were involved in corruption. He emphasized the importance of ethical leadership and contrasted Jagan’s actions with the qualities of former leader YS. Reddy warned against tolerating illegal cases and injustices in Andhra Pradesh and called for a change in leadership, expressing support for the Telugu Desam Party (TDP).

Reddy also urged Jagan to recognize the responsibility of the Chief Minister’s post as a divine gift and hinted at consequences if the TDP did not come to power in the upcoming elections.
