The Owaisi family, a well-known political dynasty in Hyderabad, is witnessing the emergence of its third generation in the realm of politics. According to recent reports, Nooruddin Owaisi, the son of MLA Akbaruddin Owaisi, is gearing up to make his foray into the political arena.
Supposedly, Nooruddin’s uncle and the leader of AIMIM, Asaduddin Owaisi, has given his approval for Noor’s political debut. There are indications that Nooruddin is considering running in the upcoming Telangana Assembly Elections, with a strong possibility of contesting from the Charminar constituency, a stronghold of AIMIM.
Nonetheless, the current Charminar MLA, Mumtaz Ahmed Khan, appears reluctant to leave his position in favour of Nooruddin. It appears that he is requesting to switch to the Yakutpura constituency instead. Presently, the leader of AIMIM is actively addressing this issue and is expected to resolve it in the coming days.
