Tamil actor Mansoor Ali Khan faces charges filed by Tamil Nadu police over alleged remarks directed at actress Trisha. The National Commission for Women urged the Women Police to press charges against Mansoor under Sections 354 A (related to sexual harassment) and 509 (related to outraging modesty) of the Indian Penal Code.
Despite this, Mansoor Ali Khan stood by his comments and declined to offer an apology, asserting that he hadn’t said anything inappropriate. Presently, he has applied for anticipatory bail in connection with the case.
Trisha vehemently criticized Mansoor’s remarks, receiving support from various figures in the industry like Lokesh Kanagaraj, Nithiin, and Chiranjeevi, who stood in solidarity with her and condemned Mansoor’s statements.
