Former Minister Bhuma Akhila Priya faced tension in Allagadda when the police stopped her from participating in the ‘Guarantee for Future’ program in Bhagyanagaram village. The police cited the ongoing ‘Gadapa Gadapaku Mana Prabhutvam’ program in the village, which MLA Ganga had already attended.
Despite the police’s attempt to prevent her visit, Akhila Priya insisted on following her earlier schedule. This led to her early arrest, causing a heated argument with the police, questioning the lack of prior notice. The situation escalated as TDP workers gathered in large numbers, adding to the tension.
After around 20 minutes of confinement in her car, the police eventually allowed Akhila Priya to proceed to Bhagyanagaram village, provided she assured them of maintaining peace and order during her visit.
