A ride request was received by 22-year-old D Yuvaraj, a Panjagutta Rapido driver, earlier today. The planned route was from Shamshabad airport to Begumpet railway station.

Everything seemed normal until the customer abruptly requested a quick stop and requested the Rapido driver to buy shawarma for him.
After putting his Activa 6G bike in parking mode, Rapido driver Yuvaraj went to get the snack. When he returned, to his surprise, the customer had taken off with his bike.
Yuvaraj reported the theft and its circumstances right away to the Panjagutta police station.
A case has been filed by the Panjagutta police under sections 420 (cheating) and 379 (theft). They are looking into the situation right now.
