During New Year celebrations, food delivery giants Zomato and Swiggy witnessed a surge, collectively processing a remarkable 1,244 orders per minute. The data that has come out is surprising as well as shocking to learn the trends of the public.

Notably, on December 31, 2023, Zomato recorded an unprecedented number of orders, surpassing the cumulative orders placed on the platform between 2015 and 2020. The influx reflects the growing reliance on food delivery services, emphasizing the platforms’ pivotal role in meeting consumer demands during festive occasions.
