Odd-Even Rule Back In Delhi

Arvind Kejriwal

In response to the city’s severe air pollution issues, the Delhi government has taken the decision to reinstate the Odd-Even vehicle policy for a period of one week, starting from November 13 and concluding on November 20.

The Odd-Even system imposes restrictions on vehicle usage based on the last digit of their license plates, aiming to tackle air pollution. Under this rule, vehicles with license plates ending in even numbers will be permitted on the road on even-numbered dates, and those with license plates ending in odd numbers will be allowed on odd-numbered dates.

Furthermore, the government has also directed schools to temporarily suspend physical classes, with the exception of classes 10 and 12, until November 10.
