Several States Declare Holiday On Jan 22

The upcoming ‘Pran Prathishta’ ceremony for the Ram Temple in Ayodhya, scheduled for January 22, has led several states to declare it a public holiday. Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath announced a holiday for educational institutions and the shutdown of liquor shops across Uttar Pradesh on that day.

Madhya Pradesh, Goa, Chhattisgarh, and Haryana have also declared holidays and imposed restrictions, such as closing schools and prohibiting liquor consumption, to facilitate celebrations of this significant historic event.

The ceremony on January 22 will include rituals and be attended by Prime Minister Narendra Modi and various VVIPs worldwide.
