Revanth Reddy triumphed from Medchal to become a ZPTC member in 2006. Then, in 2007, he was chosen as a stand-alone candidate for MLC.

Revanth’s election in 2009 as a Kondagal MLA affiliated with the Telugu Desam Party was a great success. In 2014, he was re-elected as an MLA and held the position of working president within the party.

Revanth Reddy separated from the Telugu Desam Party in 2017 and subsequently partnered with Congress.

In 2018, Revanth Reddy served as the working president of the TPCC. Later that year, he lost the Assembly elections.

2019 saw the election of Revanth Reddy to the Malkajgiri Loksabha. In 2021, he was appointed President of PCC.

Revanth Reddy rose from his beginnings as an Akhil Bharatiya Vidyarthi Parishad (ABVP) member to a powerful position and became one of the leading candidates for the chief ministership.

With a majority in Telangana, the Congress is now ready to overthrow the K Chandrashekar Rao-led BRS government.
