In a tragic incident near Mominpet in Vikarabad district, a group of unidentified individuals killed 22-year-old engineering student Rekkala Abhishek Reddy following a minor road accident. Approximately 10 people engaged in a physical altercation with Abhishek, assaulting him with punches and sticks, rendering him unconscious.
Rushed to a corporate hospital in Hyderabad, he was pronounced dead upon arrival. Reports from the police indicate that Abhishek, after visiting his sister in Hyderabad, was on his way home on a scooter. While traversing a culvert in Kottagadi village, his scooter collided with another bike, sparking a dispute. The rider of the other bike called for reinforcements, leading to the arrival of the group that subsequently attacked Abhishek.
Upon learning of the attack through a phone call with his father Panduranga Reddy, who was trying to reach him, Abhishek’s father rushed to the scene.
