Volunteer Murdered At Kadapa LIC Office

A tragic incident unfolded at the LIC headquarters in Kadapa as Bhavani Shankar (31) was murdered by his friend Mallikarjun.

Bhavani Shankar, a volunteer at the 14th division under Kadapa One Town Police Station and also employed in the LIC office’s digitization department, had a dispute with Mallikarjun over an extramarital affair.

Mallikarjun called Bhavani Shankar to the LIC office at 9 am, where he was assaulted with a pre-prepared knife, resulting in his immediate demise. Kadapa SP Sharif visited the crime scene. The police have registered a case and are currently investigating the matter.
