Telangana CM Revanth Reddy is saying that BRS members should not be suspended from the house and this will be their punishment. Revanth Reddy stated that KCR planted 150 acres of rice in his farmhouse and sold his paddy at Rs 4,250 per quintal and asked if he is ready for investigation.
“Telangana staying in number one position in per capita power consumption is a blatant lie. If so many acres are irrigated through canals then why the number of pump sets has increased? In 2014, the number of pump sets was only 19 lakh and today it reached 29 lakhs. Even after getting a separate Telangana, why couldn’t we use the waters of Krishna?,” questioned Revanth Reddy.
“Discrimination against Palamuru and Chevella region also continued in separate Telangana. The Pranahita-Chevella upliftment scheme was cancelled and the Mid Maneru evacuees have not received compensation so far. People who questioned about sand robbery cases were arrested and tortured. Dalits were put in lockups and tortured with electric shocks. None of the members of BRS should not be sent out of the house under any circumstances. They should sit here and listen to the harsh reality. This is the punishment for them,” said Revanth Reddy.
