Previously she used to respond to any negative comments left by netizens but now she has grown past that. During the promotion of Vimanam, she had a talk about her career, personal life, and some issues regarding actor Vijay Deverakonda. Later she addressed this through her Twitter account.

On June 19th, she tweeted- “Hello everyone.. I have a request to make.. I’ve been coming across many tweets since few days.. where my name is being used as a mean comparison to disrespect others in political and entertainment industry.. which in turn is disrespectful to me too as my name is used as demeaning level of bar..I’m nowhere related to these issues..I’m trying to lead my life the way it interests only me..not coming in anyone’s way because I learnt it the hard way that it brings me unnecessary hurt..So here I am making a request for all those of you.

I am a woman completely self made..believe me when I say this.. totally manifesting my way like no other..I have to say this myself as I have no PR or any other disguised body to cover my sh*t or exaggerate me or over price me.. so if you can’t appreciate or encourage atleast keep away from me.. please be kind enough/man enough/human enough to not drag my name into things you are not capable to debate on your own practical terms.. I am here only to make a difference in the most righteous way.. I have a family.. please.”
