You trust Rapido and Uber because they feel safe, quick, and easy to track. But when a ride becomes unsafe, it shakes your trust completely.
In Bengaluru, a disturbing case proved that fear right. On November 6, 2025, a woman said her Rapido driver tried to touch her inappropriately during a ride from Church Street to her PG.
She said the driver kept grabbing her leg while riding. She was terrified and didn’t know how to react because she was new to the city.
When the ride ended, a bystander noticed her distress and confronted the driver. The driver apologised but then pointed at her angrily before leaving. She felt even more unsafe.
Police later arrested the driver, identified as 28-year-old Lokesh. The woman shared her experience to warn you and others. Her message is clear — safety must come first, and no one should ever feel unsafe using public transport.
