A predatory casting scam has reportedly surfaced in Delhi involving an individual named Ayush Sahu. The allegations have raised serious concerns about fraud and exploitation in the entertainment industry.
According to claims, the individual says he operates through “Madhawk Events” and a supposed link with “Creators at Collective.” These names were allegedly used to appear credible to aspiring creators.
He is accused of targeting young content creators by promising entry into popular reality shows like Splitsvilla and The Traitors. Such offers reportedly attracted hopeful applicants looking for opportunities.
The allegations also include fabrication of documents using the names of Viacom18 and MTV India. Fake artist agreements and false email communications were also reportedly used.
Reports claim trust was built through name-dropping celebrities like Tejaswi Prakash and Paras Chhabra. This allegedly helped create a false sense of authenticity.
Victims were then reportedly pressured into private meetings or dates. These were allegedly presented as normal industry practice or a necessary compromise for selection.
The matter has reportedly led to allegations of coercion, sexual harassment and fraud. Authorities have not publicly confirmed all claims at this stage.
The accused individual is also said to have shared an office address in Lajpat Nagar along with multiple contact numbers to appear legitimate. This has increased concerns about organised deception.
The reported pattern suggests an attempt to exploit ambition and vulnerability within the entertainment sector. Strong legal action and public awareness are seen as important to prevent similar incidents.
