
A shocking incident from Uttar Pradesh’s Saharanpur district has left the entire region stunned. In a horrifying case of family feud, a five-month-old baby girl was murdered by her own grandmother in a planned conspiracy to frame the child’s mother.
The incident took place in Kutubpur Kusani village under the Gagalhedi police station area.

According to the police, the baby was sleeping on a cot with her mother, Shivani, under a mosquito net. When Shivani woke up in the morning, she found blood oozing from her daughter’s neck. The baby was rushed to the hospital but was declared dead by doctors.
Investigations revealed that the crime was committed by the grandmother, Sarita, along with her husband and daughter. The motive stemmed from an old family dispute.

Some time ago, Shivani had reportedly caught her mother-in-law Sarita in a compromising situation with another man and exposed the matter within the family. This caused tension between the two.
To take revenge, Sarita allegedly plotted the murder of Shivani’s baby. The plan was to kill the child while making it look like Shivani was responsible.

As part of the conspiracy, Shivani’s sister-in-law mixed sleeping pills in her tea. Once Shivani fell into a deep sleep, Sarita used a blade, provided by her husband, to slit the baby’s throat.
Senior Superintendent of Police Rohit Singh Sajwan confirmed that Sarita confessed during questioning. The police have arrested all family members involved in the crime. The brutal act has sent shockwaves through the local community, leaving everyone in disbelief.
