To put things in perspective, it all began when mattress manufacturer Duroflex hired cricketer Virat Kohli as a brand ambassador. However, internet users mistook the words “Duroflex” for “Durex.” You know what happened after that!
Duroflex Private Limited, a manufacturer of mattresses and sleeping aids, signed Kohli as their brand ambassador. Immediately after this post went viral on social media, many users appeared to mistake the brand name for Durex, a condom company.
Virat Kohli stated the following after being selected as the brand ambassador: “I understand the value of sleep and recovery in preserving peak physical and mental health. It’s not simply important to get adequate sleep; it’s also important to have good sleep. I make sure to get enough restful sleep. I’m eager to expand the brand’s appeal and spread its message that getting enough sleep is essential for a long, healthy life.”
