Who doesn’t love Cutting Chai with some pakoras on a rainy day. Cuddling in bed sleeping in the blissful situation of rain is the ultimate romanticism one can expect.
But, what happened to Mumbai? After one good rain shower the city completely drowned in water.
Some areas are hard to navigate and some areas are totally inaccessible.
And if we remember that potholes are a thing in Mumbai and these waterlogged roads are making the vehicle to travel even worse.
Probably the reason for this hideous situation is not a good drainage system, Mumbai is not understanding that the age-old Infrastructure won’t work any more.
The India Meteorological Department has already issued a red alert for heavy rains in Mumbai. Different parts of Maharashtra are likely to receive heavy rainfall today.
But unfortunately, Mumbai local train services are expected to see further delays and even cancellations at times, a major reason for the delay is the water levels increasing above the railway tracks.
The authorities have started working to resolve these issues and ensure offering better experiences to commuters
One rain and this is the life of Mumbaikars on road. This is below Andheri West Metro Station. Till when should we continue accepting this as Spirit of Mumbai? @CMOMaharashtra @mybmcRoads @RoadsOfMumbai @mashrujeet @mumbaimatterz @fpjindia @mid_day @htTweets @zoru75… pic.twitter.com/62sTVJUl3L
