
Neha Shalini Dua Datta, a former spokesperson of the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) and deputy chairperson of Haryana’s Mahila Morcha, has announced her resignation from the party, accusing BJP of ignoring and disrespecting women leaders like herself.
In a social media post, Neha expressed her frustration, saying that no one in the party listened to her concerns.

According to Neha, she first approached her fellow spokespersons in Delhi BJP, then Delhi BJP President Virendra Sachdeva, followed by National General Secretary B.L. Santosh and BJP President J.P. Nadda. Despite trying to raise her issues, she claimed no action was taken.
Neha also shared a video where she said, “BJP members have turned ‘Nari Tu Narayani’ into ‘Nari Tu Naukarani’,” pointing out how the BJP, despite promoting women as powerful figures, has reduced them to subordinates.

She alleged that the BJP fails to respect women who genuinely want to contribute to society. Feeling sidelined and disrespected, she decided to leave the party.
Her resignation comes at a crucial time as Delhi prepares for the Vidhan Sabha elections. Neha’s claims of discrimination could harm the party’s image and give opposition parties an opportunity to attack the BJP.

Neha’s video has raised questions about how women leaders are treated within the BJP. As the elections approach, this internal issue could become a significant challenge for the party. Not just that, the competition now have their teeth bare to take down BJP on this front.
