Growing up in the spotlight is a hard thing to keep up with. The first star we saw growing up in front of our eyes was Daniel Radcliffe, we saw him growing up from an 8 years old to a full grown person.
Same goes for Jenna Ortega, the “Wednesday” actor grew up in front of lime light, with her upcoming movie which is an adaptation of Kazuo Ishiguro‘s novel Klara and the Sun, where she plays the role of an eponymous robot, she opened up about her experience with AI.
According to her, she hates AI and that’s the reason why she deleted her twitter account.
According to Ortega , ““I hate AI,I mean, here’s the thing: AI could be used for incredible things. I think I saw something the other day where they were saying that artificial intelligence was able to detect breast cancer four years before it progressed. That’s beautiful. Let’s keep it to that. Did I like being 14 and making a Twitter account because I was supposed to and seeing dirty edited content of me as a child? No. It’s terrifying. It’s corrupt. It’s wrong.”
She encountered many horrific incidents with AI and social media itself, as she was 12 years old the first dm, she opened was of a man’s genitals, and that of course made her freaked out.
After the hype of Wednesday things went a bit too far she received AI generated pornographic pictures of hers, and only that made her delete her twitter account.
The 21 years old actress just stepped into her adulthood and with all these nasty images she was uncomfortable with the whole thought of social media.
But, on the other hand, editing a photo in a poronographic using Ai is a crime and that should stop.
