In a heart-wrenching incident, a couple in Hyderabad, identified as K Sai Krishna (35) and Chithralekha (30), took their own lives along with their four-year-old daughter, Tejaswini, in a suicide pact. The grim discovery was made in their residence in Gangaputra colony late Thursday night.
The police were alerted by the concerned house owner, who, disturbed by loud TV sounds from the couple’s home, attempted to contact them on Thursday night and again on Friday morning. Upon receiving no response, he reached out to the authorities.
The victims, both facing unemployment for a considerable period, left a haunting message on their wall, accusing three individuals of being responsible for their drastic decision. The implicated trio were identified as employees of a group where Chithralekha had previously worked, primarily in connection with a science exhibition. Krishna, the husband, had recently worked as a cab driver.
Law enforcement officials, who forced entry into the house, found the trio hanging. The motive behind this tragic event is suspected to be financial distress, given the couple’s prolonged unemployment.
As authorities delve into the details surrounding this distressing case, it serves as a poignant reminder of the mental and emotional toll that economic hardships can inflict on individuals and families.
