In the video, Dr. Kanchan Kumari, an Ayurvedic practitioner, was seen performing a C-section in what appears to be a storage room, with zero regard for universal safety protocols or infection control.
The reel was casually shot by a family member, who joked that every time Dr. Kanchan helps with a Caesarean birth, a baby boy is born.
Outrage began when viewers noticed she wasn’t wearing a mask or even a surgical cap during the procedure.
The room is crowded with people in regular clothes, including the patient’s relatives, who are standing around watching the operation like it’s a live show, without scrubs, masks, or gloves.
Many social media users called the situation deeply alarming, highlighting a severe breach of medical ethics and safety standards. Performing a C-section without proper sterilisation, personal protective equipment (PPE), and in an unsuitable setting endangers the patient’s life.
They added that filming during surgery shows blatant disrespect and irresponsibility.
Suppose Dr. Kanchan Kumari lacks proper qualifications and is practising such gross negligence. In that case, strict legal action must be taken immediately to protect patients and uphold the integrity of the healthcare system.
Others pointed out that the video reflects larger systemic issues, such as corruption, medical malpractice, and the persistent preference for male children in some parts of society.
When her social media was examined, users noted she couldn’t even spell “gynaecologist” correctly in her Instagram bio, yet she is casually performing C-sections on women. This left many baffled and furious.
People are demanding an immediate investigation and accountability under medical law to protect public health and restore trust.
What’s also deeply concerning is how the relative mentions that Dr. Kanchan has performed such surgeries multiple times before.
Her account on social media and all reels have been suspended, but the impact still lingers.
Medical expenses are extremely high and not affordable for all. Such unsafe, unethical practices are more common, especially in rural areas, where there’s still a strong societal preference for a male child.
These cases need to be addressed, reported, and stopped immediately, not just because they are illegal, but because they pose a massive risk to human life.
