Ear Poisoning Horror: YouTube Sparks Murder

Karimnagar murder crime scene under flyover

A shocking murder has come to light from Karimnagar in Telangana, where a 45-year-old man was killed in a disturbing manner involving pesticide. The accused, his wife Ramadevi, allegedly watched a YouTube video and learned that pouring pesticide into a person’s ear could lead to instant death. She then teamed up with her lover Karre Rajayya and his friend Srinivas to carry out the murder.

The victim, Sampath, was a library worker and was reportedly abusive and alcoholic, often troubling Ramadevi. To support the family, she sold snacks for a living. During this time, she developed a relationship with Rajayya, a 50-year-old man from the same area.

As per police investigation, Ramadevi came across a video online that explained how to use pesticide as a quick method to kill. She shared the idea with Rajayya and Srinivas, and the trio planned the murder in detail. On July 29, Rajayya and Srinivas took Sampath to a secluded location near a flyover and offered him liquor. Once he passed out, Rajayya poured pesticide into his ear, resulting in Sampath’s death on the spot.

To cover up the crime, Ramadevi filed a missing person complaint the next day and requested that no post-mortem be conducted after the body was recovered. However, her stepson raised concerns that made the police dig deeper. Using mobile location data, call records, and CCTV footage, investigators uncovered the entire conspiracy.

All three accused were arrested and have confessed during interrogation. They are currently in judicial custody. The case has disturbed the public, especially due to the unusual method of murder inspired by online content. Doctors in Telangana have also expressed concern over the easy availability and misuse of pesticides like paraquat.

This incident serves as a grim reminder of how domestic abuse, toxic personal lives, and misinformation from social media can lead to horrific crimes with irreversible consequences.
