A fight among friends turned deadly in Kokapet, Hyderabad. The incident happened under Narsingi police station limits. What started as drinking together ended in violence and tragedy, leaving one man dead and two in police custody.
Police said Yadagiri, a 24-year-old welder, was stabbed by his friends Afroz and Nawaz. The three were drinking when an argument spiralled into a violent fight. Locals heard Yadagiri’s cries and called 100 for help.
The murder took place in Yadagiri’s two-bedroom apartment at 2 am. Police reached the spot, took Afroz and Nawaz into custody, and shifted the body for postmortem. Investigations are ongoing.
Residents expressed shock at the incident. Many said a fight between friends turning into murder was deeply disturbing. The killing adds to the rise in impulsive crimes committed in the heat of the moment.
