How often have we seen police officers punishing citizens publicly for violating any law. Videos of policemen making youngsters do sit ups for not wearing a helmet or a mask were very popular during the COVID times. But the power of social media has made it possible for common people to not allow the police officers to walk free when they violate the same rules. A recent video of a woman questioning a police officer for breaking rules is going viral on the internet.
In the viral video, a policeman in uniform can be seen riding a motorcycle without a helmet. Upon seeing this, the woman started recording the policeman. She also asked the man why he wasn’t wearing a helmet. Upon being questioned he stopped his bike at the corner and said something but as soon as he saw the camera, he started driving his motorcycle again and drove off.
The video has gone viral and users on X are reacting to it. The Mumbai police also commented on the video, wanting to know the exact location so that further action can be taken. Although the location of the video is unknown, the vehicle driven by the policeman has been identified as from Madhya Pradesh.
Some users on X hit back at the woman for not wearing the seat belt herself. They called out the hypocrisy in the video and demanded action against both of them.
