Netizens Support Indian Woman Suffering Racial Abuse!

Woman Racial Abuse

Time to time, people tend to forget that we are living in 2024. Workplaces are now open for both genders, but why is it still like this that women have to face daily abuse in their workplace ?

A recent incident, came into light as Nikita Kumari, an employee of HSBC recently, was subjected to workplace abuse.

The mail she composed which addressed the team, drew attention of the crowd as she mentioned that her co worker Ajmeera Ashok, said to her in the lunch break “Ek chamaat maarenge, Bihar pahuch jaegi”.

This is such a shame that women are still being bullied by society, this case came into light as she protested about it, but so many Nikitas are still there struggling, because they don’t have a hand to hold, or they can’t see a ray of hope which will lead them to justice.

We always talk a lot about women on Women’s day and write an enormous amount of good stuff one feels for a certain woman or the female gender in general.

Political leaders give speeches based on this very agenda that women are conquering .

But, whenever they try to focus on the macrocosm , the microcosm turns out to be flawed, or vice versa.

She also mentioned a few other names, Goga Pujitha, Sai Prasad Papisetty, Jaya Lakshmi Bhimarasetti who were the eyewitnesses of this Incident. We have to understand that witnessing something like this and still being quiet is as equal as the crime.

Mocking someone based on where they live is a very shameful thing one can do, and this type of behaviour is totally unacceptable in a workplace.

Nikita ended her mail by saying , “I understand that addressing such matters can be sensitive, but I felt it was important to bring this to your attention as it directly impacts my well-being and my ability to perform effectively in the workplace. I kindly request your support in addressing this issue promptly and ensuring that appropriate action is taken to prevent similar incidents occurring in the future.”
