On Sunday, the globe celebrated Mother’s Day, and social media platforms were flooded with postings from people expressing their love and honoring their moms. An IndiGo pilot wrote a poem to the moms on his flight, and his gesture went viral.
Captain Ramdeep greets the passengers and introduces the pilot in the tape uploaded by Captain Priya Vignesh, who became popular for his in-flight announcements in 2020.
“Today is a very special day for all of us,” he says. We wish all the wonderful mothers a wonderful Mother’s Day. We all know you’re a superhero without a cape. Priyavignesh, our lyrical pilot, has composed a great poem for all the moms.”
“Dear passengers, greetings to you all,” Priya Vignesh says. Vignesh, I’m your co-pilot. Today is a wonderful occasion. It’s a holy day, not just a wonderful day, because today is World Mother’s Day. Amma (mother) is a variant of Anbu (love). We have many moms among us who exhibit their love in a variety of ways. Films have never failed to illustrate this from time to time. Here’s a poem based on it, merging the reel and actual Ammas.”
On Mother’s Day, another video published by IndiGo on Twitter warmed people’s hearts. The passionate remark of a cabin staff member about her mother captured the hearts of her passengers.
The mother worked for the same airline, and the crew member stated she was seeing her mother for the first time in uniform on board. Her mother, she claimed, had been a cabin staff member for six years and was an inspiration to her.
