Last night, the city of Jamnagar was aglow at its finest for the grand marriage of India’s richest man, Mukesh Ambani’s son, Anant Ambani, and Radhika Merchant – the daughter of business tycoon, Viren Merchant.
The night became even more special when R&B icon Rihanna graced the pre-wedding celebration with her performance. The pop star showcased her famous hits like “Wild Thoughts,” “Work,” and “Diamonds.” However, the real surprise unfolded when she danced with actress Janhvi Kapoor to the popular Indian song “Zingaat.” Janhvi shared their dance on Instagram with the caption, “This woman is a goddess. Stop it, goodbye.”
While the marriage unfolded with grandiosity and a massive celebration, Rihanna’s fans in India couldn’t contain their excitement at witnessing her dance alongside Janhvi Kapoor. Undoubtedly, this became one of the most memorable moments of Rihanna’s time in India.
It’s not the first time that the Ambanis have invited a foreign artist to perform in India. Prior to this, Beyoncé graced the stage last year during the marriage of Mukesh Ambani’s daughter, Isha Ambani.
