A shocking case of child sexual abuse has surfaced in Kharar, near Mohali, where a married woman and her boyfriend were arrested for allegedly abusing her three-year-old daughter and recording videos of the crime.
The case came to light when the child’s father, a businessman who frequently travels abroad, discovered disturbing videos on his wife’s phone and immediately informed the police.
Following the complaint, an FIR was registered, and both accused were taken into custody. The woman’s boyfriend, a resident of Mansa, allegedly impersonated a police officer and had been threatening the father to prevent him from reporting the crime.
Authorities also revealed that the accused had shared images of himself in a police uniform and holding weapons on social media.
Medical examinations confirmed the abuse, leading to serious charges under multiple sections of the Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita (BNS) and the Protection of Children from Sexual Offences (POCSO) Act.
As of now, the mother’s phone has been seized for forensic examination, and the police are investigating the alleged use of a police uniform by the accused.
Both suspects were presented in court and placed in two-day police custody for further interrogation.
The incident has raised serious concerns about child safety and the need for stricter monitoring of such crimes. Authorities continue to probe the case to ensure justice for the victim.
A mother is supposed to protect, but this #KaliyugiMother chose betrayal.
With her lover, she destroyed the innocence of her own 3-year-old daughter.
When will society stop blindly trusting women in such crimes? #JusticeForTheInnocent pic.twitter.com/w7o6bUwnTc
