A state transport bus overturned on the Latur-Chakur highway in Maharashtra while trying to avoid a careless biker. CCTV footage of the incident shows how the biker suddenly entered the highway without checking for traffic.
The video shows the biker and a pillion rider coming from a service road and trying to cross the highway. A state transport bus was approaching at high speed.

The biker, seemingly distracted, only noticed the bus at the last moment and quickly turned back.
To avoid hitting the biker, the bus driver swerved and applied the brakes. However, the bus’s rear wheels hit the median, causing it to lose control and overturn. Multiple passengers were injured, with reports stating that at least 35 people sustained injuries.

The biker, who caused the accident, was seen on the other side of the road after the crash. Despite such incidents happening often, reckless riding remains a major issue in India.
The bus driver’s quick reaction likely saved the biker’s life, but the accident could have been avoided if the biker had been more careful.

It is unclear if authorities have taken any action against him. Stricter traffic enforcement is needed to prevent such incidents in the future.
