A reporter from Bihar has become the recipient of online criticism due to his actions in Dubai.
The reporter, while filming a woman dressed as a mermaid somewhere in Dubai, can be seen trying to kiss her through the glass partition between them.
Before the kissing gesture, he could also be seen expressing his desire to be in the water with the mermaid.
The reporter said, “Hum bhi aapke saath aana chahte hain (I also want to come in with you)”.
After his controversial gesture, he further added to the camera, “Yahi tha, Hamlog bhi enjoy kar sakte hain (This was it. Even we can enjoy here.)”
The video has gone viral on social media, with many expressing their opinions online.
One user said, “Who gave this guy a mic? This is not reporting, this is desperation!”
Another commented, “Next episode: Reporter flirts with an aquarium fish!”
People should understand that when they go abroad, their actions are not only on themselves but a representation of their country in the foreign land.
Sensible behaviour must be maintained so that the whole country’s image does not get maligned by the actions of a few.
