The man is seen in the video standing at his modest kiosk on the route between Sissu and Manali in Himachal Pradesh. Shesh Prakash Nishad, the guy, informs Sood that he is from Jaunpur, Uttar Pradesh. Sood, curious, questions the man about his daily routine.

The man tells me that he sells a sack of maize for Rs. 50 every day. Sood addresses the audience and thanks the man for his hard work.

Sood’s tweet is captioned, “Our New Corn Shop #supportsmallbusiness.” The video has gained over 586k views, 20k likes, and countless reactions since its release. Netizens admire Sood’s down-to-earth demeanor and wish the maize trader continued success. “Best promotion ever,” one user said.
