A necklace saved the life of its owner by stopping a bullet. It might be sheer coincidence but the fact that this happened with such slim chances is quite astonishing. There have been similar cases throughout the world where the necklace or the jewellery has saved the life of someone but stopping a bullet is on another level.
The gunshot took place in Commerce City, Colorado, United States and the man was hit on the neck by a bullet or at least that’s where the bullet was targeted. But the metal necklace prevented the bullet from piercing the man’s neck saving his life. Police reportedly said that the shootout occurred after an argument with another man.
It is no less than a miracle that such a tiny piece of metal was able to protect a life from severe danger. The necklace was only half an inch wide and it stopped a .22 calibre bullet. There was no major injury to the victim only a minor puncture wound.
The police dept made a funny remark regarding this incident on Facebook, “We’d say he really dodged a bullet – but in reality, he LODGED a bullet”. The shooter has been arrested for attempted homicide charges.
