The complexities of personal relationships always lead to tragic consequences. This is proven true again in a recent incident that happened in Uttar Pradesh’s Kaushambi district.
Two individuals, including a woman, were arrested by Saini police for the alleged murder of 30-year-old Shravan Kumar.
The deceased had been reported missing by his family on April 4, and his body was discovered ten days later in a dry well in Saurai Buzurg village.
What was revealed during the Investigations was quite shocking. Reports state that Shravan was allegedly involved in relationships with two sisters, Kamla Devi and Vimla. On the night of the incident, he met both women in a nearby forest.
During this meeting, Vimla’s husband, Ramesh, unexpectedly arrived and found them in a compromising situation.
Ramesh allegedly strangled Shravan to death in a fit of rage.
While Vimla managed to escape, Kamla helped Ramesh dispose of Shravan’s body by dumping it into the well.
The police later apprehended Ramesh and Kamla Devi near the Mochana turn as they attempted to flee. Evidence recovered from the crime scene included Shravan’s Aadhaar card and broken bangles belonging to Kamla Devi.
