The house, located near Hardidali Chauraha, belongs to a man named Virendra Gupta, though no one currently resides there. When locals opened the toilet tank, they were stunned to find dozens of snakes coiled together.

On Monday, a brave man from Hardidali Barka Tola climbed into the tank using a mosquito net and began rescuing the snakes himself.

The video of this bizarre event is circulating widely on social media. It shows a dense cluster of snakes nestled in a corner of the tank, some entangled and others trying to slither away.
The tank had stagnant water, creating a dark, damp environment, which turned out to be ideal conditions for snakes to shelter.

Experts explain that snakes tend to settle in places that are dark, undisturbed, and moist. Unless provoked, they generally avoid attacking humans. Locals managed to catch the snakes safely and release them into a nearby forest.
Residents expressed frustration with the forest department for not fulfilling their responsibilities. They stressed that handling wildlife is a government duty and were upset that no official assistance was provided in such a risky situation.
