A viral video showing a mango juice factory has left many viewers shocked. In the clip, workers mix chemicals, colours, and preservatives in large tanks. The setup looks unhygienic and unsafe. Yet, surprisingly, this factory is considered one of the cleaner ones.
Most packaged juices in India are made this way. Real fruit content, either pulp or powder, is usually less than 20%. The rest is water, sugar, flavouring agents, and preservatives. The details are printed on the label, but most people never check them.
Many consumers trust glossy ads and believe they are drinking real fruit juice. The truth is that these drinks are mostly flavoured sugar water, not natural juice. What you see in commercials is far from what actually goes into your glass.
The sad reality is that several famous actors endorse these products just for money. They know such drinks are unhealthy but still promote them to the public. This shows a lack of responsibility and respect for their audience.
There must be strict action to stop such misleading practices. Food companies should be made to maintain hygiene and follow transparent standards. Celebrities must think before endorsing such brands and put people’s health before profit.
India urgently needs stronger food safety laws. Every product sold should be clean, safe, and made with honesty. You deserve to know what’s really in what you drink.
Most people are shocked to see this video, complaining about hygiene and chemicals used to make mango juice.
What if I told you this factory would easily rank in the top 5% of the most hygienic juice factories in India? As for the ingredients, this is how juices in India are… pic.twitter.com/EquGox3HnT
